Jerry Fulford - Is the player/manager of  Firestorm and plays rhythm guitar and sings.  Jerry founded the band, and has been playing music for over three decades.  Growing up in the 60's - 70's his influences are from that era, which are reflected in the vocals and playing style.  Jerry is a native Texan and was born in West Texas near Lubbock.  In his early teens he moved to the Rio Grande Valley, which is where he started to play guitar.  Jerry remained in the Valley until joining the U.S. Air Force in 1975.  While serving in the USAF at Lackland AFB in San Antonio Texas, Jerry began to play music again with another USAF member, Don Forbess (the former drummer for FireStorm).  The band has been a family affair for Jerry, with most of his children, a daughter-in-law, and spouse, playing with or involved in the band now or in the past.  His music is his primary hobby and a stress relief from his full-time employment as the Director of the Adolescent Forensic Program at North Texas State Hospital.  This program treats 78 Texas adolescents with mental illness and substance abuse disorders. Firestorm frequently performs for the patients at the Program, who are all avid fans.

Jerry plays an Epiphone Les Pauls and a Del Rey through a Marshall AVT275 amp.
