| This course is designed to help prepare the beginning theatre student for a life outside of high school theatre. The student will develop basic understanding of the auditioning process for both university and professional levels of theatre. The student will work to develop quality resumes and audition materials including portfolios, monologues, and songs. The student will also develop an understanding of the life lead by the typical professional actor including unions, networking, the job search, and professional vs. non-professional theatre work. The student will prepare materials for university and professional auditions. |
