Lewis Latimer:

Born: September 4, 1848 in Chelsea, Massachusetts.

Died: December 11, 1928

Lewis Latimer is actually a very important character in history. He is the Inventor of many various inventions, including a Toilet system for Trains, and was one of the men who worked with Thomas Edison when he invented the light bulb. In a way, he was the inventor of the light bulb, because he was the one who discovered the inexpensive filament that is used in light bulbs today.

He was also responsible for helping Alexander Graham Bell make is patent design.

Thomas Edison

Born: February 11, 1847, in Milan, Ohio

Died: October 18, 1931, Dies in Glenmont, after completing his last patent 10 months before.

Next to Leonardo Da Vinci, Thomas Edison is one of the most Brilliant Inventors in history. At only the age 12, he was a fully fluent Telegraph operator. He was also a very intrigued scientist, and spent a lot of his spare time reading and doing experiments. Thomas Edison, however, is most famous for his ingenious inventions, including:
