Service Details/Agreement
Welcome to my Ad service page! Currently, this service is only extended to current students of the University of Mary-Hardin Baylor. I hope to change that eventually so everyone can have customized advertisements for whatever they're buying or selling!
Andr's Handy Ads is a service about, as may logically be expected, advertisements. For paying me, Andr, a small fee, I can use my time and resources to develop you an effective advertisement that will help you sell whatever it is you're trying to sell...or even buy! For a small fee of $5.00 US, you can have your ad developed!

- What's the fee for using the service?--$5.00, US.
- Am I entering into any agreements?--Yes, you are by using this service. Click HERE to see the full agreement. This is a protective agreement, both for myself and for you, the customer as well. I very much doubt that anyone will deliberately break the terms of the agreement, but if they do, the party who perpetrated the breach WILL NOT threaten my customer's service. I'm here for you, folks.
- Can I submit a photo of what it is I'm selling/buying, and how much does it cost to do this?--Yes, you can, provided it's in digital format, and it costs nothing to include this; I'm here to save you some time and trouble, I won't charge you for adding something that really should be added regardless.
- What do you use to make the actual ads?--Actually, a number of programs. I use MS word to check my grammar of the sales pitches I put in, Ultimate Paint v.2.86 to create the ad/edit images submitted, and for 3D images Blender. v.2.37.
- Do you print ads and give them to us in person?--This point is currently subject to change:I don't yet have the resources to print either black/white or color documents set up yet. I will have it set up in the future, and you can have a small copy for your own for a very small fee.
- Ok, then, if I can't see a physical copy, how can I know that you're doing what I want you to do with my ad?--That's very simple: I will send you a daily e-mail with the image of your ad attached. You can look it over, and if you're not content with what I've made, e-mail me back with what you want me to do with it so I can make the appropriate changes.
- E-mail...that sounds like I have to submit information to you before you begin working on the job...do I?--Yes, you do. First, I will need your first and last name, telephone number, and e-mail address for communication purposes. As per the Agreement, this information will be kept completely secret and confidential.
- Okay, you've made my advertisement...yet still no one's buying my item(s)/selling their item(s) to me. What can I do?--The unfortunate answer to that is, nothing. I design my ads to be visually appealing and pleasing with a professional, eye-catching look to them that will work effectively. However, just because an ad looks good dosen't mean anyone will or will not buy--they may have already struck a deal, they may no longer be selling/buying whatever it/they are, there are any number of situations. Many ad companies guarantee results--I won't lie to you: as a practical matter, this simply cannot be done. My ads MERELY tweak the circumstances in your favor.

Pre-service:
- By using Andr's Handy Ad Service (hereafter "The Service") described above, you are accepting and agreeing to abide by this Agreement.

Both parties entering into this Agreement accept 2 facts:
- Good Faith--Both parties shall act in Good Faith to one another. The Service and this Agreement defines 'Good Faith' as meaning complete honesty and confidentiality of details and records between the two parties. Any breach of Good Faith discharges the party on whom this has been perpetrated from this Agreement, and the party who has perpetrated the breach accepts any and all resulting surcharges/legal actions. Further, the perpetrator shall not recieve a refund of any fees paid to the Service.
- Property--Any resulting work (hereafter "The Product") created by the Service for the Service's user (hereafter "The Client") is the Service's intellectual property. Permission to recreate any part or whole of the Product must be obtained from the Service in writing. The physical Product is the Client's property, and is subject to all protections that status entails under the law.
- The Client will pay all fees up front. If you cannot pay, arrangements cannot be made, and both parties are released from this Agreement.
- Prices are subject to change without warning. However, the fee paid by the Client will be considered 'acceptable' by the Service. If and when a price does change and the Service is engaged on a Client's work, that Client's work shall be resumed and no additional charge requested.
- The Client shall submit four (4) pieces of information to use the service: First and Last Name, a valid Telephone Number, and a valid E-mail Address. Failure to do so, or falsification of said information shall discharge both parties from this Agreement.
- The Client shall not submit for advertisement any material which may be considered offensive or is controlled by government regulation including but not limited to: profane statements, racial slurs, pornography, or drugs. It is at The Service's discretion what is acceptable. If the Service does not accept The Client's topic, all fees the Client has paid shall be returned, and submitted information shall be destroyed by the Service. Further, any and all illegal material such as child pornography or drugs will IMMEDIATELY be reported to the proper state, local, or federal authorities.

After service:
- The Client shall be notified via electronic mail of the status of the Product on a regular basis, until the completion of said Product.

If the Client is not satisfied with the Product upon submission, they have 2 courses of action:
- A electronic mail may be sent to the Service requesting changes that the Client wishes to have enacted on the Product. The Service shall then enact the changes and resubmit the Product to the Client.
- The Client may refuse the Product, and is no longer entitled to the full terms of this agreement. The Intellectual Property clause still applies to this. The Client shall recieve all fees paid in full.
- If the Client is satisfied with the product, the Client shall recieve a confirmation e-mail granting permission to reproduce the Product exclusively in it's entirety. The charges will be considered paid, and the Service's duty to the Client successfully fulfilled.
- In the event that the Product is not successful in it's intent, the Service shall not be sued for damages, nor shall a refund be requested. The Client may request a variation on the original Product for a fee not to exceed one-half the price paid of all fees for the first Product made. The entirety of the Agreement pertains to the second Product made.
