CPR and First Aid classes are fun and very useful classes, and really could help you save a life. Depending on which class you would like to have, you will learn when and how to use the following procedures:
CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation)
FBAO (Foreign Body Airway Obstruction)
AED (Automated External Defibrillator)
First Aid
There are several options in class types, and each one has different features and different prices. The cost for each class includes your certification card, book, and any other supplies needed for the class. You can choose from any of the following classes:

No matter where you live, it will usually take at least 5 minutes for an ambulance to respond to your call. Since many of you live in rural areas where it will take 10 minutes or longer, this could be the one thing that saves your child's life! Remember, every minute counts!
Please note that there is a test at the end of each of these classes that you must pass in order to be certified.
If you would like to have a class, please email with your name, phone number, email address (within the message), which class you would like to take, and the area in which you live.
Each class must have a minimum of 3 people and can have a maximum of 8 people, and I will have as many classes as needed to teach you all. Please know that children 13 and older can also take these classes. Feel free to get a group together so that you can carpool!
Please note that you cannot have gum, lipstick, candy, or anything with sugar on or in your mouth because it cannot touch the mannequin.
These classes can be offered during the day (only on days when I am not at the Fire Station). The class will go faster if the children are not present, but they can attend if necessary. The classes will be offered at my home in Bremen, GA. I have a backyard where the children can play as long as there is at least one child present that is old enough to supervise.
I will also offer to travel to your home to teach these classes if you live more than 30 minutes from Bremen, GA, as long as you have at least 5 people to sign up. Because I will be traveling to you for these classes, I ask that you provide a 50% deposit per person up front to guarantee that you will be there. The only thing that I would need for you to provide is a large enough work space for the participants plus 2 mannequins laying on the floor, and a TV and DVD player in the same room.
If you have already been certified for any of these things, please remember that you MUST recertify every 2 years! This would be a great opportunity to do so.
