Looming in the shadows I find my fear, it confronts me and bids me to follow. Pausing in the dim light I ponder the thoughts of what is beyond, beyond the darkness, where light falls not into the hearts of the silent. An amber glow emits warmth not known to many. I welcome the tender soft shades created by the shadows cast by the light, or is it in fact a light at all?
"And You Became The Vision"
My footsteps fall hard upon the surface of the darkness as if to pommel the light from it and force it to the surface so that I may see. No sparks are emitted, no flames are born only endless darkness and cold silence, my fear leads me long from the place of my security. I no longer see the dim light from where I began.
This Journey was misbegotten, there was somtething lost to me, yet I don't remember what it was. I search the halls of pain and the cold chambers of isolation, what do I expect to find? And how can I see within the darkness? Is it possible that the darkness shrouds the truth from me? Maybe many times I have passed it, brushed along side it, even felt it, but without the light, I know not what it is. How can I yearn for something so strongly? And to have its taste upon my heart, it creates a desire unquenched, and drives me to seek it out.
Dare I rest? For if i do, will I miss it? How long will it hide from me? My eyes are blind, but my heart is eager. A thought erupts within me, I have been blind, and my eyes have looked but have never seen. Motionless I stand thinking in the darkness, hidden in the shadows, silent, deeply I ponder, a drip of wisdom falls upon me. I close my eyes and open my heart.....whispers.... sweet aroma.....warmth and light.
Behold a vision before me, not seen with my eyes, but only with my heart, you were the light that cast the shadows where I hid, confused and frightful I closed my heart and sunk into darkness, looking with my eyes I lost sight of your light and wandered aimlessly searching in the abyss.
You became the vision of light that I have searched for, your wisdom was the drop that fell upon my heart, it closed my eyes and allowed me to see, your light as it shines thru me, warms me and it leads me home. I wonder if you know that you are my light. And I wonder if you realise that you become the vision?
