Love Song
(1 Corinthians Chapter 13)

These three remain.
These three remain:
Faith, hope, and love

If I speak with the tongues of men and of angels,
but I have not love,
I say nothing.

If I have all knowledge, and the gift of prophecy,
but I have not love,
I am nothing.

If my faith is so strong that I can move mountains,
but I have not love,
I am nothing.

If I give all I have to the poor and the hungry,
but I have not love,
I gain nothing.

And if I give my life: my body to be burned,
but I have not love,
I gain nothing.

Love is patient, love is kind. Love doesn't boast or envy,
And love bears all things, love believes all things, love hopes and endures all things,
And love isn't arrogant, love does not resent, love isn't selfish or rude,
And love does not delight in wrongdoing but rejoices in the truth.

And love never ends.
Love never ends.

Prophecies will end, and tongues will cease, and knowledge will vanish away
For we know just a little, and we prophesy a little, but we will be completed one day.
When I was a child I spoke like a child; I thought in a childish way.
We're all that child, gazing in a dim mirror, waiting to see face to face.

And these three remain.
These three remain:
Faith, hope, and love.

And these three remain: faith, hope, and love, and the greatest of these is love;
And these three remain: faith, hope, and love, and the greatest of these is love;
And these three remain: faith, hope, and love, and the greatest of these is love.
