In the one and only fight
Worth joining in
There's a single guiding light
That Jesus is.
Though there's evil burning bright
To obscure which path is right
We can keep his cross in sight,

Those who battle using swords
Will die by them.
Blades and guns can't save the world,
But loving can.
It's a plan all can afford
Jesus gave us with his word.

With his star to light the night
And his arms around us tight
Learn the story of his life,

When his message goes unsaid
Then darkness wins.
When our brothers go unfed
We let it in.
When we're tempted, turn our heads
To in love for him instead,
Feed his children daily bread,
And follow him.

In his footsteps, make our way.
Always be there when we pray.
