You allow yourselves to sleep in an extra hour the next morning, then wash, dress, and enjoy an excellent breakfast courtesy of the inn's kitchen. Then you bid the innkeeper farewell and are out on the streets of Antrejar by midmorning.

You're outside the inn plotting out your course for Kalokathir, when a stranger approaches your party.

"Hello," the man greets you. "I couldn't help overhearing that the group of you are on your way to Kalokathir. I'm headed that way too, and I've got an empty wagon. If you don't mind making a stop in Ambra, I'll give you a ride for 25 shrin. It's not quite a direct route, but you'll get to ride the whole way."

After all the walking you've done lately, little could sound better than sitting in a wagon all day and riding the rest of the way to Kalokathir. Merlyn and Deke both look skeptical, though. "We don't know who this guy is," Deke points out. "Should we trust him?"

If you want to take the ride, turn to page 140.
If you don't have enough shrin or don't want the ride, turn to page 149.
