So you start walking down the road. You've been walking for less than ten minutes when dark clouds begin to overtake the sky. In another ten minutes you feel the gentle prick of raindrops on your forehead, and in ten more minutes, you're in the midst of a downpour.

"Where was this while the town was burning?" you cry.

You all flee beneath a tree with long branches and thick foliage that directs some of the rain aside. "We can't just stay here, though," Merlyn frets, shivering. "Who knows how long this squall will take to pass?"

Rial pushes up the sleeves of his wet cloak. "I have a spell that can control the weather," he says. "Or at least dry up the rain. I call it my 'sunstorm'."

"Sounds perfect," you say, feebly covering your head with your hands. "What are you waiting for?"

Deke looks skeptical, though. "I dunno," he says. "I mean, yesterday you burned a building to the ground. I dunno if you really oughta be messing with the sun."

Rial shakes his head. "That won't happen again," he promises. "And this is a very simple spell."

Your party can't agree, and it's up to you to decide.

If you want Rial to perform the sunstorm spell, turn to page 99.
If you don't want him to, turn to page 103.
