You draw your sword, Deke finds his ball, and Merlyn wastes no time in beginning a spell. But your feeble swings of the sword only scratch the 20-foot wolf, and Merlyn's lone firespell barely singes its fur. As for Deke's fumball, it makes the monster stronger.

"Guys? I don't think we can do this," you say.

Merlyn agrees, and Deke says, "Too bad that fire magician's not around anymore. Maybe we should try to find him."

"We don't have time!" Merlyn cries, but you all turn to run, anyway. A waterfall of drool drips down on you from the monster's lips, as it follows.
