"Okay, here goes," says Merlyn, and she finishes the spell.

"Oof." A wave of power hits you like a punch in the stomach. But you stay on your feet...and the torch in your hand is now glowing with a bright light.

"Alright!" Deke cheers. "It's time for round two!"

Once again the three you of you make off through the wilderness, Deke still leading the way. On and on you go, but neither the torch nor your party shows any signs of burning out.

"We're almost there," Deke has repeated five times now...But finally you make it. You're well into the night when you arrive at the inn, but your party is full of smiles of accomplishment.

"I didn't think we had it in us," you admit to your teammates.

"You just gotta believe, man," Deke answers. And you open the inn doors.
