You've been walking barely ten more minutes when another fireshrew jumps out into the path right in front of you. It bares its dirty teeth.

"Aaaahhh!" you scream.

"Really, Renn," Merlyn comments. "You saw what short work we made of one of these a few minutes back. What are you so afraid of?"

"Afraid?" you ask, suddenly embarrassed for your reaction to the rodent. "I'm not afraid. I was...startled. That's all."

Deke and Merlyn exchange a knowing smile.

"Hey, I'll prove I'm not afraid of this guy!" you shout at them. "I'll take him myself!"

"Um...you don't have to go that far, Renn," Merlyn tells you.

"Yeah, man, you got no weapons or anything," Deke points out. "Let us do this."

"I'll fight him with my bare hands! I can do it," you stubbornly insist.
