"Two is a good number of companions," Sharalinda nods her approval. "A good number to start out with, anyway. I expect you'll meet more friends along the journey you must undertake. What are the names of your companions?"

"One is a local man named Deke," you inform her. "He seems pretty strong in heart and in body, though not quite so strong in brains. I joined his fumball team. My other companion is a girl named Merlyn. I'm not sure where she's from; she was a dancer in an exotic show at the fair. She came with me because she liked the sparkly medallion around my neck."

Sharalinda laughs. "These sound like excellent companions for you. Tell you what, you rest here in this room I've rented, and I'll send word to your companions to meet us here. Then we can tell them about your quest, and see if they'll like to come along."

"Okay," you agree, leaning back on the bed again, and the sorceress leaves.
