Other Autobots surveved, such as the
Autobot architect (Grapple) and there is no information to say that
they died in the movie or later in the series. In the picture
above, we see Grapple fighting in a seemingly trench war. When
you watch the movie (which is sold at Amazon.com if you
don't already have it), look for Grapple. Also, we see
Sunstreaker flying the shuttle that Optimus Prime, the Dinobots, and
Hound are on. Sunstreaker is just too vain to die, it would
screw up his paint job if they killed him. Last is Hound, we
see him outside of the shuttle when it lands and just beofre Optimus
fights Megatron. In Headmasters, we see some of these
characters again but Ido not consider Headmasters to be the
same Transformers. Like all other Japanese series and Beast
Wars/Machines, the plot is too far different than that of the
original for it to be classified as the
same. |

As we know, Prowl ws killed in the movie
by the Constructicon, Scavenger. He used a whole lot compaired
to some of the other characters and unlike Iron Hide and Rachet, his
counterpart is still alive as far as I know. Prowl was one of
my personal favorites, how he looked in robot mode. When
I first watched the movie it was during the winter, and every time I
saw someone's bre I thought (and still think of) the death of
Prowl. |

|
The hero we all looked up to was killed
by Megatron, who in turn killed Megatron. It was an amazing
battle, but Hot Rod tried to stop Megatron from grabbing a gun that
he would have shot Prime with. Megatron saw Hot Rod and
immediately overpowered him and used him as a "human" shield.
Prime couldn't shoot Megatron when Hot Rod was in the way, so that
gave Megatron enough time to shoot at least four shots into Pirme's
open wound. Prime fell and Megatron dropped Hot Rod to move in
for a clear and fatal shot but Prime hit Megatron with hands clasped
and Megatron fell many of their stories to the ground. Prime
was taken in to Autobot City and Perceptor examined him, he
concluded that he wounds were fatal. Prime passed on the
Matrix of Leadership and died. He came back in Dark Awakening
and again in The Return of Optimus Prime. |

|
In Transformers he Movie, many Autobots
were killed. Out of the ones that were killed, only one came
back - Optmus Prime. There were also Autobots that were never
seen again after the Movie. |
|
These two were the last to die on the
shttule. Like the other two, they put up a valiant fight but
were severly out numbered. It is hard to tell who delivered
the crushing blow to Rachet but Iron Hide was personally killed by
Megatron, who presumably shot him in the upper to middle back.
Both of them were some of the main characters, especially Iron
Hide. |
|
These were killed all in the same area,
where the launcher that they used against Devastator was. No
one knows how they were killed but I would say it was one of the
Decepticon jets, maybe Star Scream. In the picture to the
right, you can see a mostly red figure. That red figure is a
dead Sideswipe lying on the ground. Wheeljack was a favorite
of mine because of his ability to create such advanced
inventions. If he and Rachet had survived, maybe they could
have repaired the others. |
|
Brawn, probably the spunkiest of all the
Autobots ever, was killed by Megatron in just one shot.
Megatron transformed, Star Scream took him, and he shot Brawn at an
angle that the shot entered at the top of the shoulder and ended in
the middle of the back. Brawn would always take on anyone at
any time, no matter how many Decepticons there were. It was
really only a matter of time until someone destroyed him.

To make up for he ones we lost, we gained
new Autobots. We
gained Arcee, a female Autobot. The toy of Arcee was never
release in the US, but if you look around you can find her. I
did, but I didn't want to spend $300 on a loose one (call me
crazy). She is a very caring Autobot who was afraid when she
thought Kup and Hot Rod would be stuck outside Autobot City and sad
at the sight of Windcharger, Wheeljack, and Sideswipe dead.
We
also gained Ultra Magnus, who transformed into a transport with
missle launchers. An ideal warrior, but he wasn't comfortable
in command. He was also very large, larger than even Optimus
Prime but much smaller than Omega Supreme. There
was also Blurr, a very talkitive Autobot. His mind goes at an
accelerated rate, this shows in his speech. He also moves very
quickly, when he moves there is a flash behind him. There
is also Kup, an old Autobot warrior. He tells stories of his
past adventures but what he learned hardly helps the group, but they
are nice to hear. There
is also Hot Rod, he is a vey immature Autobot except when it comes
to helping his fellow Autobot. Hot Rod is a very spunky and
coragous Autobot, very strong. He later gets the Matrix of
Leadership and becomes Rodimus Prime, a not so perfect leader of the
Autobots. |

The Transformation of
Autobot City |
|
Autobot City is the second real base on
Earth for the Autobots, the first is the Ark. In hte movie, we
see Autobot City transforming into a gigantic defense base but is
heavily damaged after the Great War. Part of it is the giant
Autobot named Metroplex, his transforming cog was badly damamged in
the battle. We first see Metroplex in the first episode of
series three, The Five Faces of Darkness. Metroplex is larger
than any Autobot, capable of taking on any Decepticon, including the
Decepticon Trypicon. Trypticon is just as large as Metroplex
but transforms into a large dinosaur instead of a normal humanoid
form. The only Autobot that is about the same size as
Metroplex is Fortress Mximus, the giganic Headmaster.
Metroplex has three main components - the main robot/city, Sixgun (a
robot that is made up of Metroplex's six guns), and Scamper (the
tank pictured above). |
|
Jazz,
Cliffjumper,
Bumblebee,
and Spike |
|
Bumblebee, Spike, Cliffjumper, and Jazz
all survived the movie. They used Spike more than the others
after the movie, sometimes we see Bublebee. The only real time
we see them is in hte first episode of season three, The Five Faces
of Darkness. The reason why they survived was because they
were on Moon Base One (Jazz and Cliffjumper) and Moon Base Two
(Bumblebee and Spike). They almost didn't survive because
Unicron devoured the two moon and if it weren't for Daniel (Spike's
son) they would have been melted down. Moon Base One was the
main Autobot Cybertron base base in the movie because it was where
they manufactured weapons and is the same base that Optimus was on
before he left for Earth. |
