To My Ray:

Sweet heart, Darling, Love of my Life. Soulmate. Best Friend, Lover, Confidante. You make feel so wanted, needed, loved and appreciated. I am so grateful to you for the love and affection you have shown me and my children and continue to share with us every day. You are the one person in this world who is a mirror image of myself both emotionally and spiritually and the love we share is filled with passion, friendship, commitment, trust, and understanding. I turn to you for trust, and you give it openly. I look to you for inspiration, for answers, and for encouragement, and not only do you never let me down, you lift my spirits up and take my thoughts to places where troubles seem so much farther away and my joys feel like they are going to stay in my life forever. My world is reassured by you, my tomorrows need to have you near, so many of my smiles depend on you, and my heart is so Thankful that you are here.

You tell me daily how beautiful I am and I see the truth of those words in your eyes and I feel it in my heart. I thank you for the many nights you have held me as I cried. I thank you for listening when I needed to talk and for talking when I needed to listen. I thank you for the support and encouragement you have given me as I have navigated this road and I thank you for being there for me, no matter what, no matter when, no matter where. You have touched my heart, you have touched my soul, you have touched my life. For that I thank God daily!

That sure describes our relationship! 14 years cannot be erased, and I wouldn't take back even a moment of it. We have a bond that will always remain, an unbreakable connection forged from pain, and love, and struggles. Life lead us down separate roads but we will always meet again as we travel those roads and raise our children together as friends. Thank you for being the man that you are and for remaining my friend even though our marriage ended. Very few people in this world have a relationship like we have and I feel blessed to have you in my life. You are appreciated. Even though we are going to hit some slippery patches and rough spots on this road we will find our way through as friends. We have shared laughter and tears, joy and sorrow. We have shared many births as well as death, and those memories will always remain a part of me.

For the 14 years that you were there for me and for the three beautiful children we brought into this world, I thank you. You told me so many times that I was and I would always be beautiful and special to you. You told me you were proud to have me by your side, no matter what size I was! Those words have stayed with me through the years, and your love, acceptance, and understanding was, is, and always will be appreciated! Our marriage ended but our friendship did not. For that I thank you as well!

Since I found you my life has become filled with so much laughter and joy! There are so many wonderful personalities in that group and I have enjoyed meeting and getting to know so many of you! Pat, your deep faith in God as well as the way you see life amazes me and inspires me, Jo, your fun, (sometimes off-color) and intelligent comments make me smile daily, Nick, your quick wit and sometimes sarcastic comments just show the real YOU (and such a nice YOU it is!), Elle, your kindness, generosity, and efforts to be the peacemaker are indicative of a heart of gold, Melanie, you are such a nosy brat and I adore your wonderful advice and opinions, Kristy, your struggles and the way you have bravely faced them give me courage and strength, Ann, the blessed one, always positive, always ready with kind words to sooth the heart and soul, Marta, always ready with good advice as well as insight, Kevin, your words are "food for the soul", Tammy, Sharon, Melisa, Anita, Tracey, there are so many of you that I can't even begin to list all the names!! All of you have touched my life and my heart!

I am blessed to be a part of this bunch! We are all so different but together we form a group of people with a common bond, and that is so awesome! Bless you ALL! You have touched my life in so many ways. I know that there I can find friendship, understanding, acceptance, and answers, because you are all so willing to share your experiences, strengths and hopes with people like me who are just beginning the journey as well as with those who have gone before. God has blessed me with a beautiful group of friends who practice what they preach, acceptance, caring, support, and friendship. I thank you all for your kind words, your laughter, your advice as well as your encouragement, and most of all for opening your hearts and allowing me be a part of this amazing bunch!
