The Art movement responsible for these works of art is known as Pre-Raphaelite. Just as the Romantic period returned to a time of Chivalry and a time of medieval imagery. The Pre-Raphaelites were inspired by great literary works. One of the most prominant feature in Pre-raphaelite art work is their use of rich colour. The colour captures the lush natural surroundings; as well as, the depth and texture of fabrics. The paintings are a reflection of the passion that is felt within the poetry itself.
