My name is Rod Tyson, and I'm a freelance figure and vehicle sculptor to the gaming and collecting industry.
I've been working in the field now for over 8 years. I have plenty of experience working for well known companies and private clients. The scales I work in are usually :

Over the years I have sculpted a variety of historical and fantasy figurines and horses, as well as a large number of historical vehicles and artillery.

This medium also lends itself well to the high pressures involved in the vulcanization process and in the making of moulds for mass production.
My experience in the mould making and casting field, gained when creating the 'IT Figures' wargames figure manufacturing company with my brother, Bill, enables me to create 'mould friendly' designs with alot of attention paid to the presence of mould damaging undercuts, and the need for mould makers to cast a piece in as few parts as realistically possible.
Wire support and the use of dollies also help to give the designs mould making compatibilty.
