FireBelly Toad Information
Above is a picture of the underside of a FireBelly Toad. I have two of these magnifecent creatures.  They live on both land and water wich makes them amphibians. (duh)..If your a begginer at raising animals you want to start off with two or three of these. You can purchase these at your local PETsMART.
You need to have a ten gallon aquarium and an underwater filter... I use a undergravle filter wich takes a air pump BUT you want to have water cerculation... I had to modify mine.. anyways., you also should buy gravel that isnt too small for the toads to swallow because when they eat their food they may get a little pebble in their mouth.
Buy some cool looking rocks and driftwood. I have plants in my aquarium. You could have  an underwater plant if you want. Be sure to have real or fake plants on the land area though since they like to hide in it sometimes.
When you put the gravel in your tank slant it to one side to make the land and the water sections. set up the plants the wood and all the decorative items and the pump then pour the water in slowly not to mess up anything.BE SURE THE WATER HAS NO CHEMICALS IN IT. Use a dechlorinizer or let water set for two days to be safe. The n place the frogs into their new home.
Try to keep the aquarium at temperatures of 72 F-80F.(degrees). You may also want to go and get some moss to keep the humiudity up. Lighting is not required but i prefer it so you can see the frogs and it keeps it at a nice temperature. Be sure that your lid is on because they COULD scale up the corner of the glass.
If you want to determine male from female to male  you may notice a small barking noise.. If it barks it is a male.
They will eat crickets, waxworms, and almost any small insect that isnt toxic and has a soft exoskeleton. They may eat small feeder fish such as guppies. I have a little guppy swimming around in my tank for them to catch and eat in case they get hungry.
You may want to dust the insects in nutrition dust stuff., You can get this at PETsMART. Feed your frogs 2-3 times a week. Do  not over feed because the frogs may become bloated..
These frogs are hardy little creatures and Im SURE you will enjoy them.

Other suggestions:
You may want to get some FireBelly Newts to live with you frogs!! I have 2 Newts with my frogs and they are quite happy!
