Now to tell you about myself. I am a college graduate who spends her time looking for that perfect job and watching anime. Ahh what a life. A dream right? Not at all. I work part-time at Staples for the time being and have a great crew to work with. They are all funny and make the job very enjoyable. I also have my resume out to jobs in my field of Hospitality Management, but I know that shall take a while, so I am not in a rush.
I live in good ole New Jersey, the diner capital of the world. The state with more malls per square mile. The state with the highest automoblie insurance rate and home of the mystery pork known as Taylor Ham! I could go on, and shall...state with the highest cost of living, known for being the best at producing blueberries, cranberries, and tomatoes, and had the first brewery in the country!(1642) I like to drink and hang with friends. I also like to drink and watch anime. Drink and write bad poetry, drink and try to speak foriegn languages....I could go on, but I won't ^_~
I usually spend my time reading fiction, of any kind, but I prefer horror and fantasy. I also like fanfiction and have written some pieces myself, but by no means am I a writer. I enjoy anime and have since 7th grade when i found out things I have watched when I was 4 were anime movies, such as Unico and astro boy! Ahh, the good ole days. Don't get me started...reminecsing about the 80s, 90s and stupid things from those times are one of my most treasured past-times to partake in. I can go on for hours about that stuff.
I enjoy the art of cosplay, yes that is the act of dressing up in costumes, be they anime, or renisance. I am in no way a trekkie, so don't start with me! I have attended several conventions and have been since 1999. I go to Otakon every year as well as AnimeNext. I have won an award or two for my costumes, and sometime I shall add pictures here. I have been Lina Inverse, and Yomiko Readman. Haruhara Haruko from FLCL which whom I won an award, and I am a wench every year at several ren fairs. In fact I have moved on to being a pirate the lat couple of times and I wear the hat all year long because I :heart: Pirates ^_^
Yes, if you haven't figured it out I am a bit crazy, but I think that is what draws people to me. I have many friends with whom I enjoy just hanging out with. They are all like me and I am all like them. Well enough rambling for now, I shall edit this and update it as things go.
