Disclaimer
– I don’t own Spike,
Angelus or any of the other characters, “although I wish I did” but I don’t,
they all belong to Joss Weldon. Don’t worry it’s PG.

Note – It’s just a short demented, screwed up version of
one of William Wordsworth poems, told by Angelus or Spike I guess.
Special Thanx – Special
thanks to Fire_Star6, she loves reading poetry but hates writing it, so
probably most of the poems you read will be by me.

I
prowl the streets prepared to stalk,
Among
the shadows in the night,
The
stupid mortals wander like a flock,
Won’t
I give them such a fright.
As
featherbrained as a lamb,
They
screamed and clung together,
Delight
and hunger in me swam,
Their
arteries I prepared to sever.
And
though they did not fight and whine,
But
simply cowered and stared at me,
My
yellow eyes could not help but shine,
For
their fear made the blood sweeter you see.
And
so my fangs I bared,
Then
slaughtered and drank the whole sweet pack,
Not
that I truly cared,
But
a slight bit of flavor these mortals did lack.
Now
back to my lair and into bed I go,
In
a pleased and tiered mood,
The sun is beginning to rise I know,
As
I sleep and dream of my favorite food.
