the world, why has Fire Ministries chosen Ireland as its main outreach? What is it about
Ireland and the Irish that keep us coming back again and again? |
| GOD'S CHOICE OF IRELAND |
| For many years our efforts have been aimed at Latin
America. We have poured time, money and resources into the Spanish speaking peoples.
Suddenly, God told us He wanted to expand our ministry and to look toward Ireland. |
| An initial pioneering launch into Ireland by my sister
and I proved to be lead of God. He confirmed His desire for us to go there through
unmistakeable divine appointments and confirmations by the Irish. |
| God has continued to confirm the initial call to Ireland
with continued prophecies, open doors, and blessings of finanaces to go and to take
groups. |
| CONFIRMED BY THE IRISH |
| On my very first trip I ministered in a church that had
had a prophecy given to it some time before. That prophecy stated that God was going to
send a "hand-maiden" whom God would use to bring refreshing and revival. |
| My first trip was extended into a two month stay at the
request of local pastors. While in Ireland the Lord gave me many new worship songs and
messages on the Song Of Solomon. These blessings from Jesus were just where the people
were at and brought a new move of the Holy Spirit. |
| Churches began to come together and have joint meetings
as a result of this new movement. Special services were called and God's presence was
wonderfully manifest at each meeting. |
| Since the initial venture, we have sent teams that have
blessed the Irish people through meetings in schools, churches, etc. |
| The people of Ireland have opened a wide door for Fire
Ministries and the teams we bring in. |
| CONFIRMING FRUIT |
| On our second trip we gained access to minister to a
group of girls at a Catholic School. In that meeting we were able to lead five Catholic
girls to saving faith in Jesus Christ and to accept Him into their hearts. |
| We have consistently ministered in a Protestant Private
school where we have seen salvations and girls who had experienced terrible abuse be set
free by the life of Jesus. |
| We have ministered on the streets and had Irish young
people get on fire to pass out tracts and reach the people of Ireland. |
| We regularly experience miracles pertaining to finances,
housing etc. |
| CONFIRMED BY OTHER MINISTRIES |
| There are other ministries who are working in Ireland.
We have had the priviledge of, not only meeting these groups but working with them to
further Christ's efforts in Ireland. |
| We have shared resources, contacts and other information
with other groups in an effort to help and bless these other groups. |
| Many of these groups know us personally and recommend
Fire Ministries. |
| Churches in the United States are sending members to
join our teams to Ireland. |
| These other ministries feel the hand of God upon Fire
Ministries and feel that we are to be in Ireland. |
| HOME CHURCH BLESSING |
| While Fire Ministries has a particular call to the world
and especially to Ireland, the leaders of this ministry know the importance of having a
home church. |
| Our pastors and elders have put their blessings upon
this ministry. Also, our local church has finanacially backed and supported our efforts. |
| Many members of our local church have gone on outreaches
to Ireland and experienced the blessing. |
| Also. youth from our youth group have traveled with
other ministries into Ireland to minister. |
| It is very important to Fire Ministries that people who
desire to go with us into Ireland have their own home church's blessing to go. |
| Just as in Ireland, so in the United States we try to
honor the pastors and churches that take part. We hardly make a move without the blessings
of pastors because we honor their office and anointing. |
