Okay, this is for all the Rich fans who wondered what happened to him when Abs killed May…to be honest I had totally forgotten about him ‘cuz at first part four of together forever which followed after sunshine was different from the one I have now, Second Chance. The original story dealt with Rich..so i hope you’re all satisfied with this end.
Dani and Abs walked hand in hand silently until Dani suddenly exclaimed: "Rich! I forgot all about him!" (you’re not the only one, heheh)
"What about him?" Abs asked confused.
"He’s ill, don’t you remember? I wondered, have you..or that ..other you..got something to do with it?"
Abs slapped his forehead. "Oh my god" he said more to himself than to Dani, "I bit him."
"You what?"asked Dani disgusted. "That’s so gross."
Abs wasn’t listening. He tried to recall the night he bit Rich. He also remembered that Rich had been having nightmares and how he had reacted on Abs when he was ill. he hadn’t been delirious, he had seen the truth far before Abs himself had realised May turned him into a vampire, again. "We gotta go to him" he said to his girlfriend. Danielle nodded. She’d seen how ill Rich was and although she thought it was sickening Abs had caused it, she could hardly blame him. He was as much a victim as Rich was his. Not much later they arrived at Rich’s. J opened the door for them. "Hey guys." he greeted them, sounding a bit tired. "I’ve just sent Kerry and Scott home. Sean’s here too. How are you?" he continued looking at them questioning. "You look a bit…weird."
Abs glanced over at the mirror. "Oh my god!" he exclaimed. "Dani, why didn’t say a thing?! I look horrible! No wonder everyone was staring at us." He softly touched his face. "Goodness." he mumbled to himself. Apart from the fact his trousers and shirt were covered with bloodstains, he had four fiery red scratches on his left cheek, a purple streak of lipstick smear on his chin and several black spots on the right side of his face.
"I TOTALLY didn’t notice" she answered straight faced, while J tried to stifle his laughter and Abs tried to wipe the spots away.
"Yeah right" he murmured.
"What the hell have you been up to?" asked J.
"Dealing with the past" replied Abs still wiping his sleeve over his face.
"That won’t help darling" said Dani to him. "You have to get out of those clothes, too, or they’ll be ruined. I suppose you can lend some of Rich."
Abs stopped trying to get the spots away."No, Rich first." he replied.
"Could someone PLEASE tell me what’s going on?" asked J exasperated. "You look like you fought someone..but then again you look like you’ve been having a wild ..shag."
"Both, actually." answered Abs, which gained him a evil look from Dani. "Alright alright that’ll do." he said with a careful glance at Dani."Let’s (dance!Oh no,I wasn’t going to say that!Sorry) go to Rich."
"You know where to find him" replied J. "I’m not going with ya. The hospital wants to take him up tomorrow. He’s growing…violent."
"Oh. Well I’ll see. Dani, you stay here." His girlfriend nodded and Abs started to climb the stairs.
Rich was asleep when he entered the room. The face of his friend was very thin and pale, with deep-sunken eyes. Gently Abs placed his fingers between rich’s eyebrows. What he feared had happened. Abs’ or actually Morbius’ memories had awoken in Rich when he had bitten him. And he couldn’t handle those. But that meant that if he wanted to cure Rich, he had to take his own memories back. He sunk into a chair close to the bed. he wasn’t sure he could handle them himself. You have to, he said to himself. Don’t be selfish. But it’ll hurt! He almost immediately protested. "Ah!" he yelled. "I’m talking to myself! That’s sick!" He put his head in his hands as silence filled the room again. He knew what he had to do, that had occured to him immediately, but he didn’t really want to. But that would be unfair to Rich. He couldn’t help it. He’d suffered enough because of him (aah isn’t that sweet?). Abs rose and walked back to the bed. He sighed and put his fingers on Rich’ forehead again. He breathed deeply and with the calm essence of his mind he erased the memories from Rich’s mind. When they suddenly awoke in him, he suppressed them roughly. Rich sighed, and when he opened his eyes, he saw his friend, and not the vampire. "What happened?" he asked sleepily. "I feel I’ve been away for ages! I only remember getting ill.."
"Do you remember your nightmares?"
"No, am I supposed to?"
"Not really. No,you shouldn’t." Abs smiled at his friend relieved that all was well again. Rich stared strangely at him. "You know what you should do, Abs?" he finally said. "Wash your face. You look horrible."
Abs couldn’t help but burst out laughing.
