Danielle knocked carefully on the window of Rich and Billie’s house. She knew Rich might be asleep and didn’t want to wake him up by ringing the doorbell. Sean opened the door. “Hi” he said softly. “Please be silent, he’s asleep.” Danielle nodded and came in. In the living room were Scott and Kerry.
“Hey Dan, where’s Abs?” asked Scott surprised.
“Erm, well..” started Danielle. She didn’t really know what to say.
“Shall we go upstairs?” Kerry said quickly. She saw on Dan’s face something was wrong and she clearly wasn’t going to spill it with Scott around. Danielle and Kerry went up to Rich’s bedroom. “Billie refuses to come down and leave his bed.”Kerry explained to Danielle in a soft tone of voice. “The situation’s turning bad. I don’t know what to think of it anymore.”
Danielle nodded, unable to speak. Kerry opened the door to Rich’s bedroom where they found Billie next to his bed. Danielle saw she had been crying. “Dan has something to tell us, Bill” Kerry softly said, and Billie raised her head, looking expectantly at Danielle, who cleared her throat and told what Abs had done…
“It’s kinda strange indeed” Billie said thoughtfullly. “You wouldn’t think it has something to do with Ritchie’s illness, would you?” She looked aside to her boyfriend. Rich started to cough at that point, and Billie turned her attention to him. Kerry shared a few glances with Danielle, and nodded at her. “I think Billie is right, actually.” She said. “It’s very possible. This can’t be coincedence.”
“I don’t think so either” replied Danielle. “I think I just might go over to that May and ask her what the deal is.”
“You know where she lives?” Kerry asked surprised.
Danielle grinned back at her. “Nicole happens to be VERY curious” she explained. “So I actually do know.”
Danielle insisted on going alone, although Kerry and Scott tried to talk her out of it. Finally they agreed on Dan taking her mobile phone with her and Danielle left for Queens. The Rainbow-flat wasn’t that much of a happy building, as a matter of fact. She took the elevator five floors up and knocked on May’s door..
“Who are you expecting?” Abs asked suspiciously when the doorbell rang.
May gave him one of those smiles, and replied:”Someone rather special, luv. You might know her.” With those wrds she disappeared out of Abs’s sight. He heard her open the door and her saying:”Hello. We’ve been expecting you.”
“May, I assume?” he then heard a very familiar voice reply. May and Danielle entered the room.
“May, what is this?” Abs demanded. “What is she doing here?”
“Why, she’s your first victim, of course, you silly.” May replied, feigning innocence. She continued in softer tone of voice:”I know how hard this is, my love. I had to do it too, and look what I’ve become. If you don’t break with everything in your mortal life, you’ll never be a good vampire.”
“Could someone please tell me what this is all about?” Danielle interrupted May confused.
“Do it, Morbius!” May snapped, and centuries being together made Abs obey her, and he started to walk over to Dan. “Abs?” she asked frightened. “What happened to you? What are you doing?”
“I’m not Abs anymore! There is only Morbius now” he answered, and with that he bent over to her neck….
Danielle screamed and fainted in his arms. He looked shocked down at her lifeless body and realised he could never really hurt her, for he loved her. Carefully he put her down on the ground and turned to May. “You’ve made a mistake” he told her.
She shrugged. “I could try.” She replied calmly.
For almost two minutes they kept looking at eachother and the object on the ground. Suddenly May made her move to grab it- but Abs was faster. He pushed the wooden stick-still smeared with micheals blood-right into her heart. Her face and body froze. As she looked up to him, she saw he was stronger now. ‘Pupil teaches master. I’ve lost.’
With her last energy she softly caressed his cheeks.”Thank you, thank you..” she whispered, before she vanished.. Just a couple of seconds Abs sat on the ground, the stick in his hand. Then he dropped it and walked back to Danielle. He carried her to the bed and looked upon her face.

Danielle slowly came to conscience again and looked confused in her boyfriends eyes. “What happened to May? What..”
“Later.” He cut in. “Come on,love.”
They walked out together, leaving the dark room.
