Chapter 3

Rich looked into the mirror and moved his head slowly from left to right. He had had the strangest nightmare ever that night. He frowned, looking at his reflection, which didn’t really seem to be him.His eyes were sunken deep into his sockets and the sparkling blue seemed to have faded.
Abs knocked on the door and shouted:”Are you still not done yet?”
“Coming!”Rich shouted back and came out.
“Sheesh, you’re looking bad man. Are you ill?”Abs asked his friend worried. Inside him, the fear started to grow that the nightmare of that night hadn’t really been a nightmare.
“Think I had a nightmare. Would it be contageous?”Rich replied sarcastically.
Abs didn’t answer but stepped into the bathroom and locked the door. What happened last night was fearful and new, and at the same time fulfilling and known.

Rain fell down as if the heavens were crying over a lost son. Dark clouds hid a sad sun.Life’s like a thunderstorm. You think you control it, then it strikes, with all its power…
Abs walked slowly through the streaming rain, as he wanted to be punished for something he wasn’t sure of it happened, but still haunted his thoughts going wherever. He didn’t know where to go, but May did. He ended up in Queens, at an ordinary flat. His human conscience was screaming warnings, but he ignored them. The flat looked like it could use some paint like all other buildings around.take the elevator five floors up and the second door right.
“Who are you? What are you doing in my dreams?”he demanded of the little, fragile, darkhaired woman.
She gave him a cat-like smile. “I AM your dream, Morbius.”she answered.
Abs fought against his raging memories he ahd wanted to forget for over 5 centuries. But he was lost when with inhuman strenght May took his face in her ahnds and kissed him and his memories flew over him smoothly, like a forgotten passion. So he’d been a vampire. But he knew she was hiding something, but he wasn’t strong enough yet to reject her.
“So you’ve found a way to live in the sun, my darling?”he said to his long-lost love.
“Yes, my sweet. I got a sun-walk formula from Micheal.”
“How?”
“I’ve got my ways, darling.” She smiled her cat-smile again. “Don’t be jealous baby. I killed him. And I enjoyed every bit of that.”
Abs laughed a most unpleasant laugh. “We can talk later, honey”he said and pulled her close, putting his lips on hers. This time it was a lovers-kiss. May wrapped her arms around Abs and her weight pulled them down to the floor. Abs last human bit disappeared somewhere in the passiomate wild love they made, but would it be enough? Enough to let promiscousity victory above love?
