Chapter 2

The moon is bright
The moon is dark
Did anyone hear his dogs bark?
She came out surrounded by light
Did anyone laugh?
Or was ther silence
By death
May smiled evilly, knowing that Abs shouted out in pain right now, sitting up in his bed. She reached him. Now he’d soon be hers. She stood up and switched the lights back on. Her room was, except for her bed and a candle holder on the ground, empty.
At a sudden she shivered, feeling a strange cold creeping up on her, making her stiff to the bones. “Why did you come back?” she asked without turning around. The tall man, May couldn’t even reach his shoulders, seemed to be angry. He was very skinny and his whole being carried out hate, cold, rage and… sadness. “Why do you think? This we had not agreed. You said you’d be mine.”
“So. Micheal, I lied. Who’d be the wife of pephatic old you? And besides, vampires cannot love. Vampires are promiscuous. I am. You aren’t. Therefore, you are not a vampire.”
With a growl he wanted to jump at her, but she was faster. The wooden stick hit him right in his heart. Unsteady he stepped back, his facial expression slowly freezing on his face. The blood ran out the wound, turning his black clothes red. He fell, and after a few twitches he finally stopped breathing. May looked calmly down at him. “Can’t even die as a vampire. Now I’ll have to clean it all up.”

Outrageous May smashed the last drawer of Micheals desk against the wall. Then she sank back in the chair. She had put his whole appartement upside down, but couldn’t find the formula. She had to have it, or her plans were history. Then she realised the only place she hadn’t been searching was the very chair she sat on. She stood up fast and scratched with her long, sharp fingernails the back of the chair open. And there it was, in a golden carved holder. If a vampire was able to be happy, she certainly would have been

That night Abs woke up feeling a cold breeze through the room he and Rich shared. When he opened is eyes he saw May’s appearance standing next to his bed. She smiled, showing him her fangs. Images started to trouble his sight. He tried to fight his memories, he didn’t want to know, even though he did already.
“Isn’t it a struggle?” May asked with a devilish grin, and he screamed. The scream woke Rich up, who sleepily scratched his head, muttering”Not another nightmare hey?”
“Do it” May said and disappeared. Abs was quickly out of his bed and with a strength that frightened himself he pulled Rich up at his shoulder. Rich, shocked by Abs’ face, was terrified and tried to scream, but Abs’ grip was too strong. He pushed rich against the wall and bent over to his neck. His sharp fangs came easily through the flesh. At first Rich struggled, but the more blood was sucked, the more energy he lost. When Abs finally stopped drinking Rich fell lifeles to the floor.
Far away, an evil laugh could be heard.
