It was the Monday after the whole ‘telling off-thing’ and Five and FirE had come together to shoot the video to their song ‘Movin’ On.’
Richard Stannard had come up with the title,thinking it would perfectly fit into Five’s repertoire of ‘gettin’ up,gettin’ down and movin’ themes,plus it was a simple title that everyone would remember.Both Five and FirE felt that the song had very much to do with their own situation.First they were enemies and now they were eachother’s best friends and some of them even lovers.
Lauren too had come to the shoot but even though the girls were getting closer with her by the minute,the lads were still extremely distant.They hadn’t forgiven her just yet and to be honest,Loz couldn’t care less about something like that.It was their problem if they were angry,not hers.
Peter Brighton,the director of the video,had just called both bands towards him to discuss his ideas for the video.
“So,I’ve been listening to your song and I have to admit I really got my inspiration from it.Since it’s called ‘Movin’ On’ I wanted a moving on theme and I came up with this.”
He pulled a few drawings from behind his back,showing every scene very detailed.
“FirE and Five are at the studio,recording together and having a laugh when suddenly two of you disappear.I decided to take J and Wendy for that since they are the ones having a slightly alternative role in both groups,they are the rappers.The other boys and girls find out about that soon and start looking for them.But what they don’t know is that Wendy and J are having a secret fling going on and that they are trying to hide it as much as possible from the rest.But in the end of the video they will find out about it all and you know what?Tamara and Abs are together too!So everyone’s happy for the two couples and they live happily ever after.”
J and Dee looked at eachother in shock.Could it be that Peter knew about everything?Nah,that was impossible…or?
“Erm…but how will they find out?”J asked carefully,trying to give Peter a different idea to use instead of him and Dee being a couple.
“It’s very simple J.They’ll find you kissing.”Peter explained with a shrug and Dee frowned.
“Wouldn’t that be unfair towards the fans?It are all teenagers who wouldn’t want their idols to be kissing.”she tried but Peter shook his head.
“Your fans grow up,too.And they will understand that it’s just a video and not real life.You are acting and that makes a huge difference.”
“Well,I think it’s a good idea.”Daphne suddenly exclaimed and J groaned silently.It was going to be a nightmare if everyone was agreeing with the director’s plan.When he looked up again he noticed Wendy staring at him in fear.She was thinking the same and he knew it.My word,this day was getting worse and worse…
“I agree with Daph.It’s a nice little storyline with some romance,which is pretty good at the end of the year.”Rich stated and the others nodded.
“So it’s settled then?”Peter asked and a chorus of ‘yesses’ echoed through the studio.
“Oh hell…”Dee muttered under her breath while she watched how the guys were congratulating J with his ‘mainrole’.
“So you and J,huh mate?”Tamara grinned at Dee innocently and she rolled her eyes.
“Don’t be too happy.You get to kiss Abs.”
“So what?”was the short reply and Wendy looked down at her hands.What a wonderful day it was going to be…
The first preparations were taking place for the filming when Dee walked over to J,who was just outside the lads’ dressingroom.
“Can I talk to you for a moment?”she questioned and J nodded at her.He followed her over to a quiet corner and asked”Are you alright?”
“Yeah,I’m fine.I’m just asking myself what we gotta do to get out of this one.”
“I don’t think we’re able to do anything.Everyone’s agreed to the plan so we’d better do this and pretend like it’s cool with us.”
Dee shrugged,not really feeling any better by J’s words.He sensed it immediately and grabbed her hand.
“No need to worry.It’s all going to be fine again,you know?”he replied gently and she smiled at him.
“I hope you’re right.”
At that moment Scott came around the corner and yelled”Come on mates!It’s time for your kissing scene!”
The two secret lovers let go of eachother’s hands and followed Scott quietly…
Sean in the meantime was watching with raised eyebrows while Tamara was recording her intimate scenes with Abs.He couldn’t help but feeling jealous,even though Abs was one of his best mates.Tamara seemed to feel pretty damn comfortable in Abs’ arms and Sean wasn’t happy with that at all.Of course he regretted not protesting when Peter had told them about his strange little plans but now it was too late and his girl was kissing another guy.He didn’t notice Rich sitting down next to him until he suddenly stated”They are looking good together,don’t you think?”
“How can you say that?”Sean replied in surprise and Rich raised an eyebrow.
“Well,don’t you think they would make a cute couple?”
“No,I don’t for a fact.”
“Jesus,what’s wrong with you Sean?”
Sean looked down at his feet and muttered”Nothing.”
“Oh,but there is something going on.I can feel it.If I wouldn’t know any better I would think you are falling for Tam.”
“Huh?”Sean questioned uncertain.Had Rich found out about everything?
“I don’t say you do man,but you are reacting at least a BIT weird.”
“Well,I’m fine.”
Rich decided on giving up.If Sean didn’t wanna tell anyone what was going on,he certainly wasn’t getting it out of him.
“Fine then mate,but if there is something on your mind you can always come to me to have a chat.”
“Thanks.”Sean replied happily,knowing Rich would finally leave him alone now…
