It was almost night when J leaned back into his chair and stated”Well,don’t you think it’s time for us to call it a day for now?”
Dee nodded and closed the computer down.
“You know,I do have to admit we make a pretty damn good duo.”Wendy stated and J nodded at her in agreement.
“You’re right.It’s gonna be a great rap and hopefully an overall amazing song.”
“I’m sure it will be.”
“So,what are we going to do now?”
Dee shrugged and answered”Go clubbing?”
“Fine with me.”
The two popstars got out of the house and walked over to J’s car when his stomach suddenly started to rumble.
“Hungry?”Wendy laughed and J nodded shyly.
“What would you say if we skip clubbing and go out for dinner instead?I know a nice quiet restaurant at the end of the street.”she exclaimed and J smiled thankfully.
“That would be wonderful.”
He and Dee linked arms and grinned at eachother before they started walking down the street in the dark London night…
“People?I think it’s time for me to go home now.Kerry must be waiting already and she’s not going to be pleased if I come home too late.”Scott exclaimed to Daphne and Rich.The three of them were still at Rich’s house and to all of their delight they had come up with quite a few good lines.
“Alright.Will we see you tomorrow again?”asked Rich and Scott nodded.
“Yeah,but it might be in the afternoon before I have time.”
“Sure,take your time mate.See you then.”
Daphne watched as Scott walked out of the room and closed the door behind him before she turned towards Rich and stated”I think I’d better be going,too.”
Rich pouted and questioned”Already?But it’s still early!”
“Early in the morning you mean!Come on Rich,it’s gonna be a tiring day tomorrow again so we’d better be getting some sleep.”
“Please?Just one more drink?”Rich pleaded and Daphne laughed.
“Alright then,if it makes you happy.”
Rich went off to fetch a drink for Daphne while she went over the lyrics again.
“And,still like the song?”Rich asked while he sat down next to her,casualy draping his arm around her shoulders.Daphne moved away a bit,uncomfortable under his touch,and exclaimed”Yes,it’s good.”
“Then I’m happy,too.”
They just sat there for a few seconds until Rich all of a sudden grabbed Daphne,pushed her into the cushions of the sofa and kissed her without an explanation on the lips.She tried to push him away but after a few tries she had to admit she liked being kissed by him and let him do whatever he wanted.Several passionate snogs followed before Daph pulled away again and looked at Rich angrily.
“Why were you doing that!?”she questioned with crossed arms and Rich raised an eyebrow in surprise.
“I just felt like it.Why?”
“We had a deal!”
“Well,if that deal’s so important to you,why didn’t you stop me in the first place!”he answered accusingly and Daphne shrugged.
“Lost your tongue,girly?”Rich asked in a sarcastic tone and she shook her head.
“No,I haven’t.It’s just that…”
“That what?”
Daphne looked at her feet and whispered”That I like being kissed by you.”
Rich seemed satisfied with that and questioned”So what’s wrong then?”
“Well,first of all nobody’s allowed to find out about this.”
“I wasn’t planning on that either.But why can’t we keep it between us?None of the lads nor the girls will ever know about this.We are writing together so it’s not even strange if we spend more time with eachother.”
“True.So…you didn’t want this to be a one time thing?”
Rich smiled and shook his head in denial.“Not really,no.Anything against that?”
Daphne grinned and shrugged her shoulders.”No.But you know what happened last time around when we did stuff like this.”
“But the circumstances were a whole lot different then.”
“You didn’t like me for real back then.”
“No,but I do now.We all got to know you lot better and now look,even Dee and J are talking to eachother like normal people.”
Daphne laughed and replied”You’re right.So…let’s give it a go then?”
“Yes,a quiet,secret go it’s going to be…”
