“Well,another day in paradise.”Scott exclaimed while stepping out of his car and walking over to the building on his right hand.
It was just an ordinary new day of work,work and even more work and he and the other lads weren’t very pleased with it.As soon as he entered the studio he got greeted by quite a ‘lovely’ sighed : Abs tangled up with some girl on the sofa.
“Well well,that’s charming.”he muttered while he walked over to another part of the building and finding Rich and Sean having breakfast.
“Hi mates,are you alright?”Scott asked,his question getting answered with just some moaning.
“I’ll take that as a yes then.”
At that moment J stormed inside and questioned”What is that scene in the dressingroom all about!?”
“Abs you mean?I think he found himself some new bird.”Rich replied while shrugging his shoulders in a very uninterested way.
“Can you hand me the marmalade or do you still want it?”Scott asked Sean,who shook his head and stated while pointing towards Abs and the girl”I lost my appetite because of those two.”
J stood up and walked over to the next room,shouting inside”You two!You even made Sean lose his appetite with your shagging!Get a room for God’s sake!”
But Abs just seemed to ignore his bandmate and pulled the girl into another huge kiss.
“I give up.”J mumbled defeated.At that moment there was a knock on the door and J yelled”What!”
He really wasn’t in the mood for any more ‘nice’ surprises after finding a very much in love Abs onto the sofa.
The door slowly opened and three very familiar faces appeared.
“Well,is that a new way to greet your mates,J?”Daphne exclaimed with a pout while she walked inside and smiled at the four dumbfound lads in front of her.Rich was the first one to get out of his trance and he jumped up,pulling Daphne into a big embrace.Soon the other guys came into action,too,and the FirE girls got greeted warmly.
It had been almost a year since the tragical tour of the two bands and it had been quite a while since they had last met.The break from eachother had created a huge bond between the eight of them though,and all the problems and fights of the past had been forgotten.
“Hey lad.”Dee exclaimed while giving J a hug.He smiled and looked her up and down.
“You’ve grown!”he finally stated and Dee started laughing.
“It’s called high-heels,J.”
“Yeah…right.”J nodded scratching his head.
“Well,what brings you here,girls?”Abs,who had finally decided to join the others too,questioned and Daphne exclaimed”We’re here to bother you.”
Dee laughed at that and shook her head”Nah,we’re not.But hasn’t Chris told you about the new plans yet?”
The guys all raised an eyebrow and shook their heads simultanously.
“We’re with Safe Management now,too.We decided to kick Roy out after the whole bus accident last year.Of course we never liked him but his lack of interest in our health and stuff really was the last drop.”
At that moment Chris stormed inside and stated”So you’ve found eachother again?”
“Yes,we have.But,I hope you don’t mind me asking,what are you doing here?I thought you had other work to do?”J replied.Chris shrugged his shoulders and mumbled sarcastically”Thanks for the warm welcoming,J.But actually you’re right,I have other work to do but I just wanted to tell you the great news myself.”
Both FirE and Five looked at their manager awaitingly.
“BMG has decided to let several artists record duets for ‘Children in Need’.We agreed with that idea and so Five and FirE will collaborate on a song together.”
‘You mean the 8 of us in a studio?”Tamara questioned and Chris nodded.
“You’ll get one week to write a song together.Richard Stennard has already written some really nice backingtracks to inspire you lot.One week from now there will be a recording session and right after that a tour to promote the song.”
“A tour!?”Dee asked in shock.
“Again!?”Abs exclaimed.
“Couldn’t you have asked us before!?This is a bit last minute,don’t you think Chris!?”J added hotly.But Chris shook his head and responded with”No,we couldn’t discuss it with you first because it was last minute for us,too.But I thought you were getting along now perfectly?”
“Well,we are but that doesn’t mean you can decide everything for us,Chris.”Scott piped in.
Chris ran his hands over his face and muttered”God,I wish we had chosen five other guys for the band who DO listen.”
“Well,I don’t think we can get out of this one.”Daphne exclaimed and the other 7 nodded in reply.
“So that means you are doing it then?”Chris asked hopefully and Rich shrugged”We will,but only because we don’t want another argument with the recordcompany.”
“In that case I won’t bother you any longer.I want the first results of the song on my desk in,let’s say about,3 days.”
And with that Chris was gone.
“Well,wonderful.”Sean sighed,obviously not very pleased with the news.”Now we have to work like madmen again.”
J rolled his eyes and mumbled under his breath”Lazy fool.”
“Okay guys,let’s go through the rules first.”Daphne exclaimed while sitting down next to Sean and crossing her legs.
”Erm…what rules Daph?”Rich asked dumbfound and she replied”The rules to stay friends and not have another big tragedy like the last time.”
“What do you have in mind?”Abs stated.Daphne shrugged and exclaimed”Well,first of all we gotta keep out of eachothers private lifes as much as possible.If someone wants a little time out we gotta give it to him or her without complaining.”
“I agree.”J responded.
“Second,no swearing and arguing with eachother.If two people fall out all the time,the bad mood will rub off on everyone else.”Daphne explained while looking at Dee and J accusingly.
“Hey,don’t look at me like that!It’s been a long,long time ago since me and J had some slight arguments!”Wendy stated.
“Slight arguments,my arse.”Tamara muttered and Sean laughed at her.
“I heard that.”Dee said while pointing at her bandmate.
“Anyway,here comes the third and last rule : no sex between FirE and Five members.And that means no kissing,no touching and certainly no sneaky dates in the moonlight.”
“Well,that won’t be too hard to keep.After all,that was the thing that got us arguing in the first place.”Sean said.
Everyone else agreed with Daphne’s plan,but was that really a good idea or would the 8 of them regret everything later..?
