Claudine walked into the library and got greeted by the two women behind the desk friendly. She greeted back and walked immediately to the bookshelves with fantasybooks-her fave category. She couldn’t recall the times she had come here. Sometimes she felt more at home in the library than at her real house. She loved books and was always still planning to bring one out herself but she couldn’t seem to find inspiration for her lovescenes, no man she knew was interesting enough, she thought. Her finger slid over the bookshelve, while she softly muttered to herself:”No, I’ve read that one, that too…Aww, I was so hoping they’d have Bridget Wood’s new one..” “Excuse me” she suddenly heard next to her. As she looked up she looked into the most gorgeous pair of blue eyes she had ever seen. The lad held up a thick book smiling.”Looking for this?” It was Bridget Wood’s “Princess of Amaranth”, the one Claudine was waiting for for quite some time now. She sighed and said:”Yes, I was. I think I’ll have to wait till you’re done huh?” With that, she wanted to walk away, but he stopped her by grabbing her arm. “You can have it first, if you want.” He smiled the beautiful smile again and continued:”As I understood you already read everything. I’ll have another. What will you advise me?” Claudine smiled too and put down her bag. “I’ll gladly advise you. By the way I’m Merlin, or actually, that’s my nickname.” “Well, I’m Rich, I haven’t got any special nickname, but you’re free to find me one anytime you want to.” Claudine blushed at his comment and bowed over fast to the books, giving him reviews of the best ones. About half an hour later they walked out of the library together. It was already getting dark. “Well, thanks for giving me the book.” She stammered, at a loss for any other words looking into his blue eyes. He smiled at her and said:”No, thank YOU, for helping me pick a book. Can I walk you home?” She nodded, and led him into a small path going right through the park. They walked in silence, for both didn’t know what to say, untill he attentioned her at the moon, clear right above the park. When she looked back from the sky to Rich she found him staring at her. “Merlin..”he whispered softly tipping her head up so her eyes met his. “Your name fits you. You’ve enchanted me..” He drew her in closer and kissed her passionately on the lips…
