CHAPTER FOUR

THE PHONE RULES

Caige finished noting what she required and then decided to fix her camera. Two shots left better use them so I can get the film developed, along with the rest of them. She thought remembering she had flash problems. I need a flat surface to pull it apart on, and put some of my pictures into my album. I need a drink and I should take my vitamins as well. With this last thought Caige grabbed her tablets, pen and shopping list and opened the door and walked into the main area. The guys went silent as she came into the room.
"Which way is the kitchen?" Caige asked.
"That door there" pointed Sean as the phone rang.
"Thanks" Caige picked up the cordless as she was closest to it.
"Pornographers anonymous, press option 1 if you are wanting to star in a movie, press option 2 if you have a video for us to look at, press option 3 for the movie rental dept"
"Why you little" J started as Caige took the phone away from her ear and pressed a button on it. The rest of the guys were staring that she answered the phone like that and kept a straight face. "They hung up. How rude" she muttered.
"You are not to answer the phone like that at all" J said getting out of his seat and taking the phone off her "Give me the phone it could have been someone important like my girlfriend."
"Which one, the imaginary one or the dead one?" Caige replied with a smile walking to the kitchen door. Abs started the laugh, Sean and Scott joined him.
"She can tell good punch lines" said Rich a big smirk on his face.
"Do you have an answer machine?" asked Caige.
"Yes, why" said Sean.
"Cause I want to change the message" said Caige.
"To what?" asked J not really trusting her phone manner at all.
"You'll see" Caige laughed evilly as she backed into the kitchen.
"To hell with it,she can change mine if you won't let her do yours, I need something new that symbolises me, not the crap �leave a message at the tone thing�" said Abs thinking "Something that will have the fans guessing who's place it is."
"What you mean the DJ mix is going?" asked Scott. Abs nodded his head.
"About time that was beginning to grate on my nerves."
"Maybe I should ask her to do mine over the next couple of days, see what she comes up with while I am on holiday" added Abs. J was surprised. "Guys I do not think we should encourage this sort of behaviour" started J "Darryl trusts us not to lead her astray."
"J come on, it is an answering machine and all in good fun" said Sean. Seeing Caige come out of the kitchen quietly and produce a orange and green gun. Lining J up in her sights. "What are you doing Caige?" asked Rich, seeing Caige squeeze the trigger. J turned to face the kitchen and got shot right in the face. "Aim is still pretty good" said Caige passing the water pistol to Sean "Not my favourite one but it does the job."
"Is this pick on J day?" asked J standing there with a wet face. "Must be" said Abs "Hey Caige can you do my answer phone, I want it changed?"
"Yeah sure whatever" muttered Caige loud enough for him to hear.
