Sam was standing in front of Abs’ apartment,facing the door.Although she knew she had a very easy job to bite her victim because she had been inside his house already,she hadn’t been looking forward to it at all.She couldn’t forget about the natural chemistry between her and Abs,the way everything had happened the night of the first bite.Samantha absolutely didn’t want to hurt or harm Abs in any way.She knew herself how horrible the life of a vampire was but she tried to quiet the guilt she felt by telling herself that maybe she and Abs would get happy together in the end.
Sam finally had enough courage to ring the doorbell and within a few seconds the door swung open and Abs appeared.He looked at her questioning until Sam used her powers to let him remember the night of the first bite but still making sure to leave the part of the actual bloodsucking out.Abs all of a sudden raised his eyebrows and he started to smile.
“Samantha!Come on in.”he said while he held the door open.Sam stepped inside the apartment and followed Abs to the livingroom.
“Come on,sit down.Would you like a drink?”Abs asked but Sam shook her head and stated”No,I’m fine like this.Just join me for a second,alright?”
“Sure,whatever you want.”
He sat down next to her and smiled gently.Samantha just took a deep breath and said”I like you,Abs.A lot.”
“I like you very much,too.I just wished you would have called me or something like that.”
Samantha tried to come up with a normal excuse,after all,she couldn’t tell him she was a vampire and kept away from him to make sure she couldn’t hurt him.
“I’ve been very busy lately.And I had to find out what I’m exactly feeling for you,Abs.”
“And what is it you’re feeling for me,Sam?”Abs questioned.
“I’m falling for you.”
Abs grinned and Samantha could hear him thinking”That’s so wicked!”But instead of speaking his mind Abs stood up and exclaimed”Alright,let’s celebrate that great news then!”
He pulled a giggling Sam with him out of the house and towards his car and within seconds the two of them were on their way…
Abs brought Sam to one of his favorite places,a small forest at the side of the Thames,and to Sam’s surprise it really was beautiful.Although the drive had only taken about an hour it seemed like the lights of the city were miles away.
“Oh Abs,this is so pretty!”Sam exclaimed and Abs smiled happily.
“I always come here to chill out a bit after some hard work.I’m sure you can see why.”
The two sat down beneath a tree,staring in the distance for a while.After a few minutes of silence Abs decided to make the first move and he bend towards Samantha,kissing her softly on the lips.She deepened the kiss,realizing how much she had missed Abs’ touches.She loved him,everything about him,and wished she could just be a normal human being again and spend the rest of her life with him.Unfortunately the truth was harder and made it all impossible.She hated the other vampires for giving her the ‘blessing’ of immmortality and wished she was just the avarage kind of girl again.
“What are you thinking about?”Abs gently questioned seeing the worried look on Sam’s face.
“Nothing really.”Sam replied while she smiled at him fast.”I’m just a bit cold,that’s all.”
“I can do something about that.”Abs exclaimed while he wrapped his arms around her again and moved his thumb over her lips.Samantha didn’t pull away as he kissed her again,not when he moved his hand up her tigh and not even when he opened the zipper of his baggy jeans.
“Abs…”she whispered but he interrupted her and responded sweetly”Don’t have to be afraid.I’ll be gentle.”
Sam knew she wasn’t able to stop him and to be honest she didn’t want him to quit either.Abs gently pushed her against the rough rind of a tree and started to kiss her colarbones.Samantha ran her fingertips over his bald head and arched her back as he slowly moved inside of her.
They made love together,both enjoying it.When it all slowly came to an end,Sam without thinking pushed Abs’ head to the side and bit his neck.
“No…please.”she could hear him plead quietly as he realized what she was doing to him.Samantha just closed her eyes and tried not to listen to it anymore.When she finally pulled back she wiped the blood off of her lips and muttered”I’m sorry baby.”
She held his hand as she spoke”Please remember me but forget about all of this.”
A few incomprehensible words escaped her lips and Abs closed his eyes while the moon disappeared behind some dark clouds…
