J fell down on the couch, his ears still ringing with Joons hard, cold words. She’d told him right in his face that afternoon she had enough.
“I don’t want to give up my freedom. It’s over.” Those dreadful words had destroyed his peaceful dream.,br>
“What did I do wrong?”he had asked in despair.
“Nothings wrong. I just had enough. Leave me now, J. It’s over.”
Why didn’t she want to listen to reason? Why had she done that, never giving him a clue she’d do such a thing? He shook his head. “Aren’t you the one, then, Joon? I thought you were. What have I done to you, that you do this to me?” he said to himself, before burying his head in his hands and drowning himself in self-pity.
He didn’t really want to go to work, but he had to, and the next morning J went to the studios in an odd mixed anger-sadness mood. The anger wn when he saw Rich and his famous lover Billie Piper saying goodbye to eachother in the parking lot. He walked over, getting more irritated by their mushy behaviour with the second. “Yo Rich, next time you wake up with a great idea just around and dream on will ya? And when you’re gonna try to hook me up with another one of your ex-bitches I’ll rearrange your face!”he told his, erm, friend and walked away.
Rich looked confused for a moment, then gave his girlfriend a quick last kiss and ran after J. “Did something happen between you and Joon?”he asked, hurrying to get along with J’s fast pace.
“She broke up with me and no I don’t want to talk about it and certainly not with you.”
“It wasn’t my fault!” Rich jumped into defence.
“No you can’t help being all nosy and messing with others lovelives!”
“I only wanted you happy!”
J stopped his angry pace and faced Rich. “Well,” he said sarcastic. “I can only be with you in my grave, you damned fool.”He went in and slammed the door, leaving a grieved Ritchie behind.
