Sean stumbled inside the livingroom of his apartment,scanning the dark room for a female person.
“Melinda?”he gently asked while he threw his backpack on the sofa and walked over to the kitchen but unfortunatly he found that room also totally empty,the only sign that there must have been someone inside before a bottle of milk on the counter.
Sean raised an eyebrow as it slowly sunk in that his girlfriend wasn’t at home and he sweared quietly.
“She forgot.I haven’t been at home for months and she just forgot that I would come home tonight.”he muttered under his breath.He walked around the apartment a bit more,not knowing what to do.He had totally planned on spending some quality time with his girlfriend but since she wasn’t at home anyway he could also go and spend the night somewhere else.
Sean was just getting up from the sofa,slipping his jacket on along the way,when suddenly he could hear the sound of a person opening the frontdoor.Sean turned his head around right at the moment that a darkhaired girl walked inside and dropped her bags in surprise at the sight of Sean.
“Sean!You’re already here!?”Melinda yelled exitedly while she ran over to him to give him his “welcome home” kiss.
“Where have you been?”Sean asked and Melinda motioned over to the bunch of bags in the corner of the room and replied”I was getting some stuff to prepare a huge dinner for you but I guess I’m too late to surprise you now.”
Sean grinned at his girl.Melinda always had the strangest ideas and surprises but that was keeping their relationship exiting and fresh.
“Hey,I don’t mind.”Sean stated seeing the disappointed look on Melinda’s face.
“You don’t?”
“No,of course not.You know what,let’s skip dinner and have an early night.”
Melinda smiled at her boyfriend’s words,then asked”Is that all you wanna do?Get some sleep?”
“Erm,let me think about it.Well,maybe that’s not all.But you’ll find out soon.”
“I can’t wait.”
The two lovers snogged wildly and made their way over to the bedroom,turning the lights off along the way…
