| With Arms
Opened Wide by Barbara Philbrook With arms
opened wide Jesus hung on the cross, Arms
extended as He took on our sin, Seeking
even in suffering what He came to achieve, With arms
opened wide as He hung so piteously, Having
lived a life free of all sin, Having
been betrayed and publicly persecuted, They
gambled for the garments He'd once worn, Buried in
a borrowed grave, covered by a stone, Three days
later He'd risen to win the victory, Sitting on
the right hand of God the Father, When we
arrive in Heaven what will we see? |
