When I first discovered that Salvation was free,
there was this tremendous joy just bubbling out of me.

I wanted to fly and soar over the face of this earth,
proclaiming to all that God found in each of us some worth.

The Bible made God's love so real and so perfectly clear,
and assured me that He held even me so dear.

That truth was firmly and securely planted in my head,
and I would often remind myself of it each day as I rose from my bed.

Knowing a fact in our head does not help us to feel that it is there,
so we remind ourselves over and over so that we will not fear.

In Roman's I read that nothing can separate me from the Love of my God,
and to those of you who feel secure, this may seem very odd.

There are those of us who have lived our whole life through,
thinking "Good things are for others not for you!"

This verse is for the ones who are aware of the things said here,
God loves you too and wants you to know he does care.

There is a trap into which we can fall,
Satan can and will distract us when he knows that on Jesus' name we have started to call.

Do you find negative thoughts tumbling round in your head,
do you find yourself looking on your life with some dread.

Satan is just trying to distract you,
listen carefully here's what we must do.

Every time one of his negative thoughts come our way,
we must think to ourselves "Something Good Is Going To Happen To Me Today".

In Psalm twenty three we read "Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life!",
this is what we should be thinking on instead of strife.

Thank you God for giving us hope in your word,
thank you God for the goodness and mercy which have not yet occurred.

We know we can count on anything that you say as being true,
so we are giving you Praise for all of the good things we know you are going to do.
