I'm so tired and weary, no strength or ambition.
Please Dear Father hear my petition.

Please provide me with the strength I need,
so with your work I will be able to proceed.

Give me the ambition to get under way,
and start the things I should do today.

I need a desire born deep in my heart,
so that once I begin I will not depart.

I lack what is needed to get going today.
Please Dear Father hear me as I pray.

Accept the surrender I am offering You,
then tell me the things You want me to do.

If there is something I am holding back,
make me aware, get me back on track.

I myself am incapable of the smallest task,
but with Your help I can do all You ask.

I'm so tired and weary when left on my own,
but "with You all things are possible" is well known.
