Walk in the Spirit, surrender each and every day.
Do this each morning as you kneel to pray.

Surrender your heart and what it will feel,
and you know the love you offer will be real.

Ask Him to control your thoughts in your mind,
and things will go more smoothly you'll find.

Give Him your mouth and what you will say,
and He will put the words in your mouth today.

Your ears are surrendered and what you will hear,
and He will block out some things, never fear.

Turn over your eyes and what they see,
and God will show you the word's mystery.

Give the Spirit your hands and what they hold.
God may give you some clay to mold.

Dedicate your feet and where they will tread,
and you will walk only as the Spirit led.

Give up your nose and what it inhales,
and fragrant flowers will border life's trails.

Walk in the Spirit, giving Him your all,
then you will be prepared to conquer not fall.
