There is something healing in God's Touch or so it seems to me,
He reaches out and touches you and all the pains of the past disappear totally.

The aching inside you that went on for years and years,
has vanished and with it go the unhappiness and  tears.

There is no longer a  hunger to please in any way, shape, or form,
you needn't shrink away when He comes near due to fear of harm.

The constant worry over rejection is lifted and sent away,
why any time there is anything wrong you just kneel to pray.

Life isn't constantly sadness it's not only filled with sorrow,
why you don't even have to go to bed at night dreading each new tomorrow.

You aren't watching other families envying their love for each other,
why you aren't even crying yourself to sleep at night asking "where is my mother?"

There is one inconvenience though this now leaves you free to be yourself,
which can be difficult if you have always put "YOU and Your Feelings" way back on a shelf.

The touch of the Lord opens new perspectives for you,
finding out who you are and what you like can be an exciting thing to do.

God does not make mistakes and not one of us was made in error,
therefore go into this adventure expecting good results not with feelings of terror.

God loved you before you were even born,
so relax and enjoy this adventure do not allow your feelings to be forlorn.

God is still there and He loves you so much,
so if the going gets stressful just call on Him and ask for another touch.

God's touch is healing it will keep you firm and strong,
and if the going gets too tough it will help you along.
