Take it all to Him and leave it there,
you walk through life without a burden or care.
He's already won the victory over sin,
by surrendering to Him your peace will begin.

There is nothing too large nor even too small,
He wants to relieve you of it all.
Each morning you offer Him your new day,
by doing this everything goes His way.

Nothing in our lives is a surprise to God,
He is aware of each place our feet have trod.
He knows tomorrow and what will be,
and is awaiting our surrender so patiently.

Why would you bear your burdens alone,
when His willingness to help is so well known?
Why would you suffer with worry and stress,
when you could have peace and happiness?

Why would you live in fear or doubt,
when we know by surrendering how life turns out?
It's not as though we haven't been shown,
since time began the truth has been known.

We've access to wisdom if we but seek,
even strength for those who are too weak.
There is no excuse for being left behind,
all one has to do is call on Jesus one time.

One time with all of your heart,
and instantly the changes within He will start.
Never again to face anything on your own,
each day you live His presence will be known.

No promises you'll never know a sad day,
but with Jesus' strength it'll just fade away.
It won't matter if there's no sun shining outside,
once you invite the Son within to abide.
