The storm has moved on as they sometimes do.
It no longer will be coming through.

The storm that we were expecting today,
has changed it's course and turned away.

No rains will be falling as they said,
the day is bright and sunny instead.

The expected flooding will no longer be,
and we stop what we're doing to give thanks to Thee.

Thank You for diverting this latest storm.
Thank You for keeping us all from harm.

One more time we've been spared from catastrophe.
Father we thank You fervently.

Thank You for hearing our heart felt prayer.
Thank you Father for always being there.

The storm moved on, the sun is bright.
We thank you Father for this precious sight.
