Lord you knew this was going to be a trying day,
you sent someone special with kind words to say.

Before I had even gotten out of bed,
waiting there for me was mail to be read.

You knew I'd feel like I'd failed in some way,
and you sent someone special to brighten my day.

Just the words to give me confidence and get me through,
just the words to assure me I am loved by you.

I am always amazed that you supply before the need is known,
yet over and over this is what I've been shown.

And to think it matters what my feelings are on any given day,
Father the realization of this blows me away.

Thank You for bringing a friend into my life,
a friend who helped me with this days strife.

Thank You for providing even before I knew I had a need,
thank you for the strength and desire to proceed.
