The Lord is indeed my Shepherd He has led me in the way I should go,
when I would have lost the way He allowed me to know.

When I needed shaping in a character building way,
He allows just enough stress to come into play.

When confidence was lacking and I needed a lift,
God so loving revealed to me that He'd given me a special gift.

When distress and worry were about to overcome me,
I called out to Him and strength and conviction were the result you see.

When life's trials and tribulations became to much for me to bear alone,
the presence of the comforter is what I was shown.

When I became ravenous and searched His Word with a thirst,
I learned He is the water of life and I must always put Him first.

When the way seemed too dark and I felt fear within,
I was shown that Jesus is the light just keep your eyes on Him.

I know  I'd be lost and forlorn if I'd been left on my own,
but my life is worth living since the truths I've been shown.

Yes the Lord is my Shepherd and He has led me in the best way,
and I'd like to invite you to walk the same path with us today.

Each day is a blessing when the Shepherd is leading us in the way we should go,
this reality I pray  you will all come to know.
