| For A
Season by Barbara Philbrook The trees
are bare, new leaves will appear next spring, We are
alive for a season and then laid to rest, Just as
the leaves on the trees have jobs to do, The leaves
provide shade from the hot rays of the sun, They are
food for some of God's creatures to eat, Did you
know that when all of a tree's leaves are upside down, They are
perches for birds needing rest during flight, Shelter
from the rain during a summer shower, No matter
how insignificant your life may seem to you, Submit
yourself, surrender today, After
you've been here for a season and have gone home to stay, |
