| Resurrection
Day by Barbara Philbrook Sunday is
the commemoration of resurrection day, To have
left His home in Heaven on high, To have
been spat on, beaten and pierced in His side, To have
given up His place on a throne, To have
suffered at the hands of God's chosen men, To have
felt separated from His Father by others' sin, All of
this for people uncaring and cold, Yet these
words said in the garden by God's precious Son, With these
words He allowed the payment to begin, Taken down
and buried in a borrowed grave, Then on
the third day He rose from the dead, Just as
God had always said it would be, I, for
one, can not let Jesus have died for naught, Won't you
accept what Jesus is offering to you, |
