Those who know Jesus should be looking forward to the kingdom,
not dwelling on past sins or worries that Satan throws at us In hopes we'll appear glum.

Jesus died on the cross to give us salvation that we do not deserve,
there are unsaved souls out there whom our conduct and stature daily observe.

Considering what is in store for Christs followers we should be filled with ecstasy,
but we walk around with our faces downcast and as if salvation costs us a large fee.

The cost of sin is death that was decided when this world was made,
in order to enter the kingdom the price must be marked paid.

Now the conditions of salvation have already been met,
if we believe in Jesus and accept him it's a gift we get.

But Satan want's to take away the jubilation you feel,
when you for the very first time realize, this gift is for real.

We don't want the unsaved to get the wrong impression.
They should see love and joy when they glance at us not a look of oppression.

So when Satan starts testing you and taking away some of your glee,
remember the original elation you felt when you realized " he died for me."

Never forget Satan wouldn't care if  souls couldn't be won by your raising your voice,
so no matter how he tries to deceive you rejoice fellow Christians rejoice.

Satan hates the fact that he's already been defeated,
it's time for us to lift our voices the news must be repeated.

Then when we are all there glancing lovingly at Jesus on the throne,
we'll all be together leaving no loved ones here forlorn.

When the unsaved in our direction should happen to glance,
they should see something akin to royalty in our stance.

The love of Jesus should draw them closer as it makes us glow,
then as they desire the hope for the future we have they too, will grow.

When the new kingdom does finally come,
we'll all be together all living as one.
