The past is over it can not be changed,
what has already occurred can not be rearranged.

Live for today surrender it completely to God,
what He knows to be right to us may seem odd.

The end from the beginning to Him is already known,
and by our surrendering the best course will be shown.

God will use each experience for our own good,
if we've given ourselves over to Him as we should.

You can't possibly know if tomorrow you'll even see,
so why worry yourself over what will be.

You can't change the things gone by in the past,
so bury them now, forget them at last.

You are unable to serve God on your very own,
so surrender now and His guidance you'll be shown.

Live life for today as it may be the last,
and forget all the yesterdays they belong to the past.
