There may be times when you are filled with pain,
you suffer within and wonder if you'll ever feel peace again.

You spend time on worrying and wishing it away,
night times are the hardest it seems to increase in a big way.

You don't have the strength or the will to do chores,
you lie awake suffering as you listen to your loved one's snores.

The Doctors don't seem to comprehend what you say,
there may be times you actually wish they'd go away.

I've been there and I've lived in excruciating pain too,
sometimes wondering if ending my life would be the thing to do.

I've learned that God desires that we surrender to him,
and then a whole new life under his control does begin.

Now I'm not claiming all of the pain will disappear,
but I know for sure I've new strengths since I'm in his care.

You never again feel as though you must face life alone,
God's love and strength are constant companions I've been shown.

So open up your heart and welcome your Lord to come in,
and a wonderful new awakening shall immediately begin.

You'll  be assured of life evermore and believe from within,
that never will you face life or it's trials alone ever again.

You'll have a knowledge and faith no man can take away,
a wonderful knowledge of where you'll stand on Judgement Day.

Your pain and discomfort will no longer be important to you,
instead you'll constantly be asking "Lord how best may I serve you?"
