The pain I feel would be more than I could stand,
if I weren't aware God holds us in His hand.

Loosing one you hold very dear to your heart,
causes overwhelming pain down deep in your heart.

But if you have the knowledge that God is in control,
you will soon be on the road to feeling whole.

The Bible speaks of the peace that passeth understanding,
a product of God's foresight and planning.

Though the situation may remain just as before,
God gives an inner peace one can hardly ignore.

God tells us there is no greater love a man can portray,
than to loose his life protecting others in some way.

The pain I feel is for the families left behind,
Lord I pray each will be granted peace of mind.
