Our hearts are aching, they are torn in two,
at the horrible things some men do.

We can't begin to understand,
only trust we are held in the palm of God's hand.

We don't know why folks do what they do.
We can only keep our eyes on Jesus as told to.

We can't explain it for the young's peace of mind.
We can only assure them God's love they'll find.

Grace and faith will see us through,
if we trust in God as we are suppose to.

Our hearts are aching but not for long,
because though we are weak our God is strong.
